2012/2013

How was everybody's weekend? Mine went well. Today, I started back to school. Since I am home schooled, blogging is my lunch break activity! How lucky am I? My mom made blueberry-strawberry scones this morning, of course it was a mix so all she had to do was add water. They were still very delicious. Today is the last day of 2012! I'm ready for a new year. This last year has been really rough, for a number of reasons. This year is the first year that I won't have a new years resolution. One year, I was 10 or 11, I decided that I wouldn't have any sugar for the rest of the year. Of course it didn't last for very long. My mom was the one who talked me out of it since I was going way too overboard. When I found out that one of the ingredients in a food I had been eating was sugar, I locked myself in the bathroom and sobbed. Like really sobbed. I was so upset! So, that was the end of that. Happy New Years Eve for you all!

Kaylin and I are sometimes very different. She is much more serious than I am.  I laugh at myself easily when she thinks I should be embarrased.  Like the time I started taking groceries out of someone else's cart. Thinking it was mine, I thought my kids had put stuff in it I didn't want. After sincerely apologizing to the lady whose cart I was emptying. I laughed so hard, I thought I might wet my pants.  On the other hand I thought Kaylin may never go grocery shopping with me again. So, I explain calmly to her that these experiences make life entertaining.  Hoping that one day she too can laugh at life's daily mishaps.

Hello World!!

Hello world!!!!!!!!!!! This is a spontaneous blog started at the kitchen table. Me (a 14 year old teen) and my mom(who would rather not discuss her age), we thought is would be cool to start a blog about.....It's a work in progress. In my opinion, I think this blog will be a bunch of fun since I love to write. I've been telling my mom to start a blog for a long time now (about 1 year) since she has so many great ideas. We have a fantastic relationship that most girls would envy, or at least I think they would. No, we rarely go shopping together alone, we usually bring my 9 year old brother along with us who happens to usually interrupt the fun with a stomach that is always empty. Boys. As I write this, my mom is trying to sneak peeks at my writing. "Wow! What is so secretive that you have to turn the laptop away so I can't see?" Of course, I smile a dazzling smile and get back to 'getting my thoughts down on paper'. So, that's about it. This blog now has 1 post. :)
